DOING THE WORK
Some of life’s most meaningful work never shows up on a résumé.
For more than twenty-five years, my role has centered around family, education, community-building, wellness and household management. While those experiences did not follow a traditional employment timeline, they have given me resilience and a wide range of practical skills in problem-solving, communication, organization, and administration.
Along the way, I have homeschooled my three kids through high school, finished a master’s degree, managed household finances, organized a natural foods buying club, dabbled in sports photography and video editing, managed WordPress websites, tutored college level writing, advocated for veterans’ issues, organized educational and community-based initiatives, and built systems to support both family and local networks.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in Health & Wellness Coaching from Notre Dame of Maryland University’s School of Integrative Health. My strengths include research, writing, editing, communication, coordination, and administrative support, along with a growing interest in emerging technologies, digital systems, and AI-assisted workflows.
Now, as I navigate a life transition, I am seeking remote and flexible opportunities where I can bring reliability, adaptability, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to meaningful work, while continuing to learn and contribute in new ways.
